What is Spinal Decompression Used For?

Your central nervous system (CMS) consists of the brain and spinal cord. Protecting the

spinal cord are the vertebra assisted by thick, "disk" shaped ligament structures with a

gelatin-like core. Functioning as a shock absorber to the bones, discs undergo

tremendous amounts of stress, often resulting in a herniation, or "bulging" of the disc.

This is a most common cause of lower back pain.

Another common cause is disc degeneration caused by a drying out of the disc itself.

Over the course of time, or through injury, dried discs will "crack" and induce pressure

on nerves. The result is extreme muscle tension and back pain radiating to the legs and

How Does Spinal Decompression Work?

Following years of research, development and extensive trials, the spinal

decompression device was approved and in 1998 made available to the public for

treatment of the spine. It uses state-of-the-art technology to help patients live a painfree

life by gradually relieving nerve compression, often determined to be the primary

cause of lower back pain. The process has been proven to relieve pain by enlarging

disc space, reducing herniation, and strengthening outer ligaments to help return the

herniated disc to its place by reversing high pressure inside the disc. Disc

decompression helps restore the health and functional integrity of the damaged disc

segment, or segments.

What Results Can I Expect?

After only 3 weeks of treatment, clinical studies have shown outstanding results in

relieving the debilitating pain that may be caused by bulging Herniated Degenerative or

ruptured discs, as well as spinal stenosis, sciatica, posterior facet syndrome and many

failed back surgery cases.

Pre and post treatment MRIs have shown a greater reduction in size and extent of

herniations after only 4 weeks of treatment with spinal decompression technology. In

fact, during the initial clinical study, a very large percentage of patients reported relief of

back pain!! Patients are happy to put aside harmful, addictive drugs and replace them

with a natural treatment without known side effects. Following the recommended spinal

decompression treatment, an equally important addition, the patient receives home

exercise instructions and equipment specifically designed to strengthen the spine's

postural muscles for long-term recovery.
